Description:

The TAC Model 101FG is a versatile Oxygen monitor. Pictured is a single channel unit that can be used to monitor a location with common low and high alarms and 4-20mA current output.   It is housed in a fiberglass enclosure that is rigid, water and dust tight with NEMA 4X  rating .  The sensor used is an electrochemical  sensor capable of measuring an oxygen concentration ranging from 1 % to 30%.

The hardware consists of a microprocessor system that updates the reading every 1/6th of a second to detect any sudden change in the measured sample. 101FG analyzer has two  alarms setpoints.  All parameters of the analyzer are field adjustable such as range, alarm setpoints, standard gas concentration and so forth.  Model 101FG can be powered by  12V to 24V DC power supply or by 117 V AC to be specified by the customer.  The power consumption for the unit is 3 Watts in normal operation.

The system is based on an 80C51 Intel microprocessor and can be directly connected to any computer system through the 4 - 20mA output.  The sensor life  is 12 months in air. The instrument’s operating frequency is 12 MHz.
